Meaty Meats & Meaty Eats Announce Sixth Annual #OneTogether Holiday Meal Charity Event
December 11, 2025 • 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Meaty Meats and Meaty Eats are proud to announce the return of their Sixth Annual #OneTogether Holiday Meal Charity Event, taking place on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at two participating locations:

  • 2288 Bloor Street West, Toronto

  • 896 Lakeshore Road East, Mississauga

This year, the companies will once again unite to donate 208 Organic Marinated Whole Roast Chickens—representing 900 meals—through a “pay-what-you-can” model. Guests may contribute any amount they wish to receive a whole marinated organic chicken.

Participants can enjoy their meal at home or choose to “pay it forward” by directing their donated chicken to one of several local community food banks and shelters.

100% of all funds collected will be donated to the patron’s choice of ShareLife, United Way, or The Mississauga Food Bank. In addition, 10% of all Meaty Eats retail sales on the day of the event will also be donated.

Strong Community Support Continues to Grow

Last year’s Fifth Annual #OneTogether Holiday Meal was a tremendous success:

  • 900 meals distributed

  • 550 meals donated through “pay-it-forward”

  • Over $10,000 raised, with a total community impact of nearly $11,000 to help feed local families

“We are most proud that more than 95% of our donors chose to pay it forward, which clearly signifies the strength of our local community, their willingness to help, and their ability to be inspired,” said a company spokesperson.

In 2024, meals were donated to several community organizations including The Mississauga Food Bank, Cawthra Shelter, and Compass Food Bank, with financial contributions directed to The Mississauga Food Bank and ShareLife.

Participants can schedule a pay-it-forward donation or in-store pickup. Donations can also be made in-store on December 11, including the option to pay a meal forward.
